Maintenance Assistant
Heather Hill Care Communities is currently seeking an experienced, strong and dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Assistant to ensure the building operates as expected. The successful candidate must have experienced in facility maintenance, preferably in a long-term care facility. The successful candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the facility maintenance schedule is adhered to as well as ensuring that all facility machinery, systems are operating as expected, and also exhibit behaviors such as excellent communication skills, ability to lead a team and a vast knowledge of systems and machinery related to an established nursing facility.
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing system. Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations. Must have general understanding of OSHA and life safety regulations.
Waste Water Plant on site, experience preferred.
