October Employee of the Month

It’s an honor to recognize Cheryl Kearns, RN, as Heather Hill's October Employee of the Month!

Cheryl has been one of our hardworking and compassionate nurses for the past year, and since joining our team, she has been going above and beyond her regular duties. Cheryl has so much love and kindness in her heart to give to others. One of her favorite parts about Heather Hill has been all the kindness she has witnessed daily from her fellow coworkers. She shared, "Kindness is so important to me, and I respect it in others."



Since 1984, Cheryl has devoted her time to the healthcare industry, and it shows in the knowledge and experience she has. She was inspired to become a nurse at a young age, always reading medical books as a child, and having a lot of respect for the profession. Cheryl has definitely found her calling!

When Cheryl is not at work, her favorite hobbies are reading, collecting antiques, and spending time with friends. We asked Cheryl what advice she had for future nurses, and she said, "Be kind to each other; life is so short. Always talk about the positives."
