STNAs Are Our Backbone

July 5, 2023
Do you know what STNA means? Some think it just means State Tested Nursing Assistants, who assist patients and residents. Nope! STNAs are working angels. Not only do they care for residents regarding their hygiene, appetite, and activities, they also become part of the resident's family. They are some of the main advocates for our residents. STNAs listen to stories, concerns, and wishes. They comfort residents when they are down and reassure them when they are questioning.

STNAs are very strong, emotionally and physically. They are moving residents around all day, whether to transfer or reposition. Often, families are unable to visit their loved ones. Our STNAs go above and beyond to ensure each resident never feels alone. They spend the most time with the residents and enrich their quality of life.

Our team appreciates STNAs more than they know. They are truly what makes each nursing facility continue to grow and help residents earn back the thrive to life! Thank you to all of our Heather Hill STNAs; we could not do this without you!
